This paper describes a fuzzy hierarchical analytic approach to determine the weighting of subjective judgments. In addition, it presents a nonadditive fuzzy integral technique to evaluate a green engineering industry case as a fuzzy multicriteria decision-making (FMCDM) problem. When the investment strategies are evaluated from various aspects, such as economic effectiveness, technical feasibility, and environmental regulation, it can be regarded as an FMCDM problem. Since stakeholders cannot clearly estimate each considered criterion in terms of numerical values for the anticipated alternatives/strategies, fuzziness is considered to be applicable. Consequently, this paper uses triangular fuzzy numbers to establish weights and anticipated achievement values. By ranking fuzzy weights and fuzzy synthetic utility values, we can determine the relative importance of criteria and decide the best strategies. This paper applies what is called a λ fuzzy measure and nonadditive fuzzy integral technique to evaluate the synthetic performance of green engineering strategies for aquatic products processors in Taiwan. In addition, we demonstrate that the nonadditive fuzzy integral is an effective evaluation and appears to be appropriate, especially when the criteria are not independent.  相似文献

Strontium (Sr) and calcium (Ca) contents in the otoliths of yellow and silver European eels [Anguilla anguilla (L.)] collected from coastal waters of the Baltic Sea and a freshwater lake in Sweden were examined by wavelength dispersive X-ray spectrometry with an electron microprobe. The mean Sr/Ca ratios from elver check to otolith edge were significantly higher for the eels from coastal waters (5.39 ± 1.09‰) than for those from the lake (0.71 ± 0.89‰). The evidence indicates that European eels in the Baltic Sea do not necessarily migrate into freshwater streams during the growth phase. Received: 30 September 1999 / Accepted: 6 April 2000  相似文献

The reactivity of cement pastes made by blending Portland cement with slag from municipal solid waste incinerator (MSWI) fly ash was investigated to assess the potential of recycling MSWI fly ash slag. The slag, prepared by melting MSWI fly ash at 1400 degrees C for 30 min, was pulverized and ground, then blended with ordinary Portland cement (OPC), using various substitution levels to make slag-blended cement (SBC). The pozzolanic reactivity of the ecocement was then characterized by determining variations in the compressive strength, degree of hydration, microstructure, speciation, and mineralogical crystalline phases. The results suggest that the strength of the pastes at an early age decreased with increasing substitution levels, whereas the strength at a later age of the tested pastes (with substitution levels less than 10%) outperformed OPC paste because of typical SBC properties. The development of strength at a later age was also confirmed by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy techniques. This implies that active silica (Si) and alumina (Al) react with the hydration product, calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2), to form calcium silicate hydrate (C-S-H), which contributed to strength development at a later age by the filling up of pores in the SBC pastes. The pozzolanic activity of the SBC pastes indicates that it is suitable for use as a substitute for OPC in blended cement.  相似文献

The temporal and spatial patterns of species composition and abundance of fish larvae and juveniles in the Tanshui River mangrove estuary (Taiwan) were studied monthly using a drift bag-net in daylight. A total of 44591 individuals representing 55 families and 105 species were collected over 12 mo (August 1989 to July 1990). The community was dominated numerically by a few species. Sardinella melanura was most numerous, making up 70.15% of the total catch, followed by Stolephorus buccaneeri (19.59%), Thryssa kammalensis (2.96%), and Gerres abbreviatus (2.61%). These four species constituted ca. 95% of the total catch, the remaining 5% consisted of another 101 species. This estuary functions as a nursery and feeding area in the early life history of these fish. There was a separation in peak-immigration and seasonal utilization of the estuary by the dominant species. The abundance of fish larvae and juveniles decreased in an upstream direction.  相似文献

The Japanese eel has dramatically declined in Asia since the 1970s. Over the past two decades, glass eel productivity in Taiwan has decreased, but is highly variable among each year catch, though the cause for this is unknown. The impact of both population decline and instability on genetic diversity, however, is unknown. In this study, we investigated changes in allele frequencies of Japanese eel recruitment events over the past 20 years using six polymorphic microsatellite DNA loci. Specimens of glass eels were collected yearly from a single location in northern Taiwan from 1986 to 2007. Overall genetic differentiation among all samples was very low but significant (FST = 0.002, P = 0.002), and only 2 out of 120 pairwise tests were significant. The relationship between genetic and temporal distance showed a slight but insignificant correlation (R2 = 0.03, P = 0.0504). There were no overall significant differences in allelic richness (P = 0.35) or genetic heterozygosity (P = 0.73) among annual recruitment events. No apparent loss of genetic diversity and occurrence of a genetic bottleneck for eel populations were observed. Estimates of the effective population size (Ne) generally exceeded 500, although confidence intervals were very wide. While El Niño /Southern Oscillation (ENSO) events had little impact on genetic diversity, they may account for the annual fluctuation in glass eel catch. These results indicate long-term stability of genetic diversity in the Japanese eel with little evidence for sweepstakes recruitment.  相似文献

Although congenital mesoblastic nephroma (CMN) is a rare benign congenital renal tumor, it is the most common solid renal tumor in the newborn period. The most common presentation of congenital mesoblastic nephroma is polyhydramnios, and only one case with prenatal fetal hydrops has been previously reported. Prenatal diagnosis of CMN has previously been made on the basis of the findings of sonography in the third trimester, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)–based diagnosis has been reported recently. Here we report a case of prenatally diagnosed classical type CMN diagnosed at 22 + 3 weeks of gestation based on the findings of sonography and magnetic resonance imaging. The characteristic imaging findings in this case were fetal hydrops and polyhydramnios. To our knowledge, this is the youngest reported gestational age for prenatal diagnosis of CMN and it is the second case of CMN associated with fetal hydrops detected prenatally. In the coastal waters off the Tanshui River Estuary in northern Taiwan, eight species of clupeoid larvae were observed. They exhibited a distinct temporal succession in association with seasonal temperature changing. The time of peak abundance of Etrumeus teres was in January, Engraulis japonicus in late April, Sardinella spp. in mid-May, Dussumieria elopsoides in early June, Thryssa dussumieri in late June, Stolephorus insularis in mid-September, Encrasicholina heteroloba in early October and E. punctifer in mid-November. The time intervals of the temporal succession of the fishes were approximately 15 to 25 d in the spring/summer and 25 to 35 d in the autumn/winter fishing seasons. Also, they showed spatial segregation by distributing in areas with different water depths: Sardinella spp. at a water depth of 10 to 20 m, T. dussumieri at less than 10 m, E. heteroloba at 20 to 50 m and E. punctifer at 10 to 40 m. The larvae of these sympatric clupeoid species segregated their nursing periods and areas apparently to reduce competition for habitat and thus to maximize the utilization of resources. Treatment and recycling of incinerated ash using thermal plasma technology   总被引:11,自引:0,他引:11  
To treat incinerated ash is an important issue in Taiwan. Incinerated ashes contain a considerable amount of hazardous materials such as dioxins and heavy metals. If these hazardous materials are improperly treated or disposed of, they shall cause detrimental secondary contamination. Thermal plasma vitrification is a robust technology to treat and recycle the ash residues. Under the high temperature plasma environment, incinerated ashes are vitrified into benign slag with large volume reduction and extreme detoxification. Several one-step heat treatment processes are carried out at four temperatures (i.e. 850, 950, 1,050 and 1,150 degrees C) to obtain various "microstructure materials". The major phase to form these materials is a solid solution of gehlenite (Ca2Al2SiO7) and ?kermanite (Ca2MgSi2O7) belonging to the melilite group. The physical and mechanical properties of the microstructure materials are improved by using one-step post-heat treatment process after plasma vitrification. These microstructure materials with good quality have great potential to serve as a viable alternative for construction applications.  相似文献

This study investigated the effects of slag composition on the hydration characteristics of slag blended cement (SBC) pastes. Synthetic slag samples were prepared by melting CaO-modified and Al(2)O(3)-modified municipal solid waste incinerator (MSWI) fly ash. MSWI fly ash was mixed with 5% CaO and 5% Al(2)O(3) (by weight), respectively, resulting in two fly ash mixtures. These mixtures were then melted at 1400 degrees C for 30 min to produce two types of slag with different contents, designated at C-slag and A-slag. Both the C-slag and A-slag samples exhibited a pozzolanic activity index higher than the unmodified slag sample. The results show that the synthetic slags all met the Taiwan EPA's current regulatory thresholds. These synthetic slags were then blended with ordinary Portland cement (OPC) at various weight ratios ranging from 10 to 40%. The 28-day strength of the C1 paste was higher than that developed by the OPC paste, suggesting that the C-slag contributed to the earlier strength of the SBC pastes. At curing times beyond 28 days, the strength of the A1 paste samples approached that of the OPC paste samples. It can be seen from this that increasing the amount of calcium and aluminum oxide increases the early strength of SBC. The C-slag blended cement paste samples showed an increase in the number of fine pores with the curing time, showing that the C-slag enhanced the pozzolanic reactions, filling the pores. Also, the incorporation of a 10% addition of C-slag also tended to enhance the degree of hydration of the SBC pastes during the early ages (3-28 days). However, at later ages, no significant difference in degree of hydration between the OPC pastes and the SBC pastes was observed with the 10% C-slag addition. However, the incorporation of A-slag did decreased the degree of hydration. A slag blend ratio of 40% significantly decreased the hydration degree.  相似文献
